Hearing: another way to access reading and literature
When it’s difficult or impossible to read with your eyes, you can read with your ears. There are various ways of doing this.
- Audiobooks
- Audio libraries, with many recordings of books read by voice artists. These libraries are not just for the blind and partially sighted, but are open to anyone with reading difficulties. A diagnosis or letter from a speech therapist is all that is required. They can be accessed from Germany. Here are just a few examples of French-language audio libraries:

- dzb lesen Proof of Dyslexia / LRS with ICD Code must be provided.
- Digital books in pdf format + tablet / computer with reading software. The quality of reading is more or less natural depending on the software/application used and whether or not you have Internet access.
