Capoeira is characterized by three levels: the fight, the music, and the "roda" (Portuguese for "circle") as the social setting in which the fight takes place. The fighting techniques themselves are characterized by extreme flexibility; there are many spinning kicks, jumped-in kicks and acrobatics. Diogo Marinho has a special program that introduces even the very young from kindergarten and elementary school.
